Look to Alternative and Preventative Medicine to Find Your Niche

Many out-of-work job-seekers these days are making the blunder of waiting for opportunities to reopen in their field of expertise, rather than looking for bigger opportunities elsewhere. While the probability and extent of economic recovery remains uncertain, certain trends are in place that guarantee certain industries will grow while others fall by the wayside. Specifically, industries that cater to the needs of an aging population, along with those that are favored by government|policymakers – e.g., alternative energy – will outperform others.
Healthcare is one industry that both caters to an aging boomer population and that is a potential beneficiary of the current entitlement-happy administration in Washington. Hence, nurses, doctors, lab technicians, and administrative support are all poised to do well regardless of economic recovery. Other careers are likewise poised to prosper, though they are overlooked. Specifically, careers practicing therapy massage, which fall under the heading not only of alternative medicine but also of preventative medicine and discretionary retirement spending – are set to be especially rewarding both financially and personally. And it has never been easier to break into the business, with reputable national schools emerging as feeders to the fast-growing industry. A school of massage requires far less commitment than any four-year degree program, and will impart the knowledge necessary to acquire the LMT distinction that is required to practice real therapy massage in most states.
Careers in massage are desirable not only for their position in an industry that is bound to grow regardless of the realities of economic recovery; they offer a lifestyle that is hard to beat. By simply attending a school of massage for 1 to 2 years, career changers can open the door to a career that really helps people to heal and de-stress: one that allows flexibility in work hours and location (the hospitality industry is a big employer), and that therefore allows practitioners to relegate their work lives to a set schedule and live their real lives the rest of their time.

A Soldier’s Welcoming

For a civilian like myself it can be quite difficult to even begin to imagine what it’s like to travel to foreign lands knowing there is a chance you might get hurt or worse. It’s an admirable task that our soldiers undertake, and let’s not overlook the fact that it’s a choice. We are blessed to live in a country that allows us the CHOICE to fight or not. Many U.S. soldiers are merited for their efforts with army medals. But what else can we do back home to honor them in our own special way?

I believe it is our duty, as the family and friends back home, to support those that have chosen to defend our land. They are thousands of miles away from their homes, from the ones they love, from their support systems. It is so critical that we remind our soldiers that they are in our thoughts.

Something as simple as writing letters to show our support, or sending care packages, lets our men and women overseas know we care and support their efforts. Or go a step further, and have your friends and family all create homemade tokens of commemoration. Don’t send them, though. Save these tokens for their homecoming. Make their homecoming celebration one to remember by presenting them with all these thoughtful letters, ribbons and artwork, as well as their army ribbons. It will be such a nice reminder that they have such supportive family and friends who have been thinking of them the entire time they were away.

It’s a difficult transition, going from fighting in a war to living the normal life back home. Help make this switch as easy and painless as possible by demonstrating the pride you feel. It can make such a difference for our returning soldiers! And they’ll surely appreciate your efforts.

Design Affects Work Ethic

If you have ever had the pleasure of working in a typical office environment, then you are most likely familiar with certain situations that come with the territory. For instance, no matter what season it is the office is usually set at an unbearable temperature, whether it be hot or cold. If you work in a cubicle, everyone in the office tends to make their rounds amongst all the employees, just to describe the latest piece of art their three year old made out of Elmer’s glue, Play dough, and macaroni. If there’s a luncheon hosted, which is usually not very often, the food offered might as well be a clogged artery served with a side of indigestion. The point is, the principles for proper etiquette in the work place have dropped terribly low. Low to the extent that it’s affecting our efficiency, health, and time spent at the office.

I have a friend who is blessed to work in an office building that possesses amazing contemporary interiors and architecture that could be noted within a large city such as New York. The time, thought, and money spent to create such higher standards not only reflects the reputation of the company it houses, but it sets the standards for employees much higher than the rest. Going to work in an office such as this gives one a sense of importance, thus making them believe in what they do. A good area for a company to start is at a furniture store in New York. So many different pieces are available and serve as the core of any interior space. This enables one to add character to an office, at the same time putting these tools to good use. One will find that office furniture in New York will provide a much more diverse selection when it comes to styles and themes.

So if you’re a business owner yourself, or an employee of a company that could use a slight etiquette upgrade, think for a moment and decide whether a little extra time and effort to provide a top-notch interior would help the expansion of the business. If you decide to go ahead with it, you may be surprised with the results.

Comfortable Mini Thongs

I love the feeling of slipping into the perfect little dress for a night out in the summertime. I am addicted to summer dresses because they can be worn day or night. Last week, I slipped on my new maxi dress to grab an evening drink with my friends. When I sat down to the table, my friend whispered in my ear that my panty lines were totally obvious. The restaurant lighting exposed every little detail of my thong panty—right down to the little pink heart on the back.

My friends will never let me live it down and I vowed never to let that happen again. Even thought my dress was black, I realized that I needed a specific style of panty for the lightweight material. I went straight home after dinner and looked online for ideas for finding a good summer thong panty. I found a unique store online that carries all kinds of women’s panties from their micro string thong to the basic thong panty that I was looking for. I ordered a {couple~bunch} of the recommended styles to test with different outfits. When I got my order, I was so happy that I threw a panty party for my friends.

I customized a gift set with different styles for the party with a micro string thong and thong panty for each of them. My order arrived really fast and even came with the most  delicately wrapped gift boxes. Each of my friends received a lacey micro string thong and the quintessentially seamless thong panty. The party was super fun to compare the variety of colors and styles. We talked about what outfits required which panty and browsed new collections on the website. I laugh about my “indecent exposure “at the restaurant now and wonder how I didn’t see catch on. The micro string thong is perfect for summer dresses. I wish I had found this store sooner!

Looking for a Bowlingball with Style? Try Clear Bowling Balls

Like any mega-truck or flashy sports automobile, style turns heads. If you don’t want to be noticed, you stay home and watch TV. When you hit the bowling alley, you want to stand out on the lane and make people wonder who that bowler with that incredibly flashy bowlingball could be.

A bowlingball should be fashionable. It should say something about you, show off your style and personality. Your ball should be a ball like any other. If you’re a serious bowler, you like the attention a good-looking ball can bring to your game. When all the eyes are on you, you’re ready to bowl that ideal game.

Ever think about experimenting with clear bowling balls? As clear as a crystal, these balls are completely see-through right down the middle. They almost seem magical the way they glide and shine down the lane. You can’t take your eyes off it. A clear bowling ball is truly a wonder of beauty.

Put the style over the top by implanting something special in your clear bowling ball. You can get clear bowling balls that contain roses, skulls, dollar bills, even a favorite memento or family heirloom. Since the balls are see-through, the objects will rotate in a lovely blur as you send the ball careening down the lane.

Keep in mind that your routine may pay a little for the style of a clear ball. The balls have no core, which seriously affects the performance on the lane. They’re harder to control, even if you’re a professional bowler. Bowl an entire game with a clear bowling ball, and you might turn heads, but you’ll also bowl the worse game of your life.

While they shouldn’t be used for the entire game, clear balls are great for those moments when you’re ready to shine, like when you pick up a spare. When you want the eyes of the bowling alley to follow your game, pick up a clear ball and sink that last pin. Nobody will ever forget it.

A clear bowling ball adds a touch of style to the game like any slick roadster brings excitement to the road. Bowling should be fashionable. Clear balls make your game the slickest on the lane, perfect for knocking out that last pin and looking like a hero.
